Whatever we do is for happiness only.  The real happiness lies in making others happy.

Breathing and Behavior

Breathiing and behavior are closely linked with breathing influencing a person’s state of mind and behavior, and a person’s state of mind affecting their breathing patterns.

  • Breathing influences behavior

Breathing is a behavior that can be influenced by psychological principles, such as operant and Pavlovian conditioning. For example, people may hold their breath when they are anxious, or speak in a high-pitched voice when they are anxious and inhale deeply.

  • Behavior influences breathing

A person’s psychological state can also affect their breathing patterns. For example, someone who is depressed may sigh and speak in a low-toned voice when they exhale.

  • Breathing influences the brain

Breathing can influence activity in wide areas of the brain, including areas that are important for emotion and cognition.

  • Breathing is a vital function

Breathing is the only vital function that is both under voluntary and reflexive control.

  • Breathing is a complex neural system

Breathing is regulated by a complex neural control system called the breathing central pattern generator (bCPG).

  • Mouth breathing and behavior
Some children who breathe through their mouth develop behavioral problems.

Thought and respiration are the foundations of our existence. They intertwine, guiding us through the intricate dance of life. Thought ignites the spark of consciousness, while respiration sustains the rhythm of our being. Together, they weave the tapestry of our inner world, connecting us to the vast expanse of the universe.

Yogic breathing gives happiness

Yogic breathing, also known as Pranayama, is an ancient breathing technique which involves in controlling and regulating breath.  The life span depends on number of respiratory cycles per minute. It can help you relax, improve your sleep, and strengthen your respiratory system.

Inhale, exhale, and find your center. Yogic breathing, a centuries-old practice, invites you to connect with the rhythm of your body and the flow of life. As you breathe deeply, let the worries of the day fade away, and embrace the present moment. With each inhalation, you draw in nourishing energy, and with each exhalation, you release tension and stress. Discover the transformative power of conscious breathing, a gateway to inner peace, clarity, and renewed vitality. Embark on a journey of self-discovery, one breath at a time.

Nadi Shodhana Pranayama, Alternate Nostril Breathing, Kapalabhati

NADI SODHANA, the ancient yogic practice of alternate nostril breathing, offers a harmonious balance to the body and mind. This simple yet profound technique regulates the flow of prana, or vital life force, through the left and right nadis, or energy channels. By gently alternating the inhalation and exhalation through each nostril, nadi sodhana promotes a state of deep relaxation, reduces stress, and enhances mental clarity. This holistic practice not only calms the nervous system but also fosters a sense of inner peace and equilibrium, making it an invaluable tool for overall well-being.
